Relaxed Body

Restorative Yoga can help you release tense muscles and fully relax.

What to expect in your
Restorative Yoga class

Currently, Restorative Yoga classes are held monthly online on Zoom.

As you are at home, you are welcome to practice on the floor or on your bed and you can keep your camera on or off.


You will need to gather lots of pillows, cushions and blankets, so you can feel warm and supported as you relax into some long-held poses.
 

The objective of this class is to relax completely, so you can use your props to create a comfortable "nest". You may find you prefer to dim the lights in your room and some people like to cover their eyes. This is your practice, so you create a set-up that you find relaxing.
 

There will be different options suggested, enabling you to rest in a way that suits how you feel today.

Who is Restorative Yoga for?

Restorative Yoga is for Everybody and Every Body.

It is an opportunity to step away from the pressures of everyday life and allow for a downshift in your nervous system to a state of 'rest and digest'.

When you feel calm and relaxed, the everyday challenges of life become easier to navigate.

Regular exercisers often find Restorative Yoga beneficial in allowing their bodies to restore between sessions.
