Setting Up Your Space
Yoga Nidra is practised lying down in a way that is comfortable for you. This could be on your yoga mat but could also be on your bed. If you choose to be in an armchair, make sure that it is one where you will be safe if you fall asleep.
Use as many pillows, cushions, blankets, duvets, etc., that allow you to feel supported and warm (but not too hot), wear comfortable clothing and lay in a position where you will be able to fully relax.
You do not need to be able to see the screen but it is essential that you can hear me.
I will bring everyone up to sit at the end but if you wish to stay laying down, then that is great.
If you need to get on with the rest of your day after the practice, I always advise that students set an alarm for, say, 75 minutes after the start of the session, in case they fall into a deep sleep.
