Teaching PEOPLE, Not Postures
Have you ever been interested in the idea of yoga but are not sure where to start?
Maybe you used to do yoga but have not been able to practice over the past few years and feel that you need to begin again?
Join me for friendly, fun, inclusive and non-competitive classes in Raynes Park every Monday at 7pm in the beautiful Stephenson Room at the Lantern Arts Centre.
All are welcome (as long as you’re over-18).
We will look at some of the more commonly-practised poses, linking them together into a sequence. I suggest different variations of postures, so you feel empowered to find the option that works best for your body.
What You Need
Please bring your own mat (and any yoga props you have).
Wear clothes that are easy to move in – preferably layered so you can adjust as you warm up and cool down.
Bring a blanket/shawl to cover yourself at the end of class (plus it’s useful throughout the class).
Bring a bottle of water, so you can keep hydrated.
The Boring Bit
All new students need to completed Health and Emergency Contact Form. You can download it from the button below or you can complete it in person at your first class (please arrive a bit early to do this).
